Traditional food safety managers focus much on process, the food sciences (e,g food safety, temperature control, and sanitation), linear cause-and-effect thinking and developing food safety programs, but for the modern food safety managers focus on people rather than process, the behavioral sciences, and the scientific knowledge of organizational culture rather than the food sciences, system thinking rather than cause-and-effect thinking and creating food safety culture rather than food safety programs
